About The Role : At Peroptyx we offer the opportunity to become a maps Evaluator and contribute to improving digital mapping applications. As part of the team , you will review mapping data to validate routes ,business names ,opening hours, and negation accuracy a seamless users experience .
Typical job Responsibilities:
Maps Evolution: Reviewing and assessing maps for accuracy, location data, and overall usability.
Identifying and correcting errors in location based information on various mapping platforms (Google Maps , Bing Etc.)
Evaluating routes, geographical data, and spatial relationships.
Data Analysis :
Analyzing datasets related to map features , traffic patterns and location based services .
Using software like excel ,Python, or specialized mapping tools to organize and interpret data.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generating Regular reports or feedback on map quality.
Experience required:
- Experience in GIS /Data Analyst
- Experience with Map Validation /Quality control
- Experience in spatial Data Processing
Additional skills/ Certificate (optional But beneficial)
- Certification IN GIS
